A Brooklyn based, contemporary painter, working mostly in acrylics & mixed media. Born in Soviet Ukraine, Misha came to the US with his family during the summer of '91. A Pratt Institute grad with a BA in Fine Arts. Misha's art is figurative in nature, blending elements of pop culture with social/political satire. Besides being an avid painter, Misha is also an accomplished Muralist having painted murals for Groundswell, The Brooklyn Arts Council & The South Bronx Economic Development Organization. He created commission work for Big Boi's record release & illustrations for publications such as VIBE & CITIZEN NY.
Born in 1989 in Southampton (UK), Elmo Hood is now based in Brixton, South London. He started painting just 4 years ago after leaving a promising career in sports due to injury. As an active street artist he fuses a combination of spray paint, stencils and free hand brush techniques in all of his pieces. In recent years his canvas work has become a regular site in top london gallerys such as Walton fine arts in Knightsbridge as well as Westbank and graffik gallery in Notting Hill. This Summer Elmo exhibited his work Internationally at Urban in Ibiza festival. This summer he was comminsioned to paint a series of murals for the Teenage Cancer Trusts new ward in Southampton in addition to creating interior artwork for top Westminster nightclub Roxx Club.
